The Terms of Use Agreement

The L’Académie Gift & Rewards Card

The following Terms of Use Agreement apply to the user of The L’Académie Gift & Rewards Card. The use of any The L’Académie Card constitutes the acceptance to the terms and conditions identified in this Agreement.

Use of The L’Académie Gift Dollars

The L’Académie Gift dollars can only be used as a form of payment at L’Académie locations. The L’Académie Gift dollars allows user to add dollars on the card for future purchases. The amount on your L’Académie dollars do not expire, they are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

Adding dollars to The L’Académie Gift Card

You can add dollars to your L’Académie Gift Card at any participating L’Académie location. A minimum value of $25.00 is required per L’Académie Gift Card activation.

Use of The L’Académie Rewards Card / Account

REGISTRATION
You need to register your profile online at www.lacademie.ca  and link your L’Académie Rewards Card to your profile to become a privileged member OR you could use your smart phone and opt to obtain a digital L’Académie Rewards Card upon your registration. The choice is yours. Start by filling out the registration form to receive an activation email and then click on the link to authenticate your membership inscription.  

BENEFITS
All L’Académie Rewards Card holders can obtain Reward Points per dollar spent pre-tax at participating L’Académie restaurants.  All valid members can redeem their Points for delicious meals from the participating L’Académie restaurant.  Valid members will receive and may earn personalized email promotions from time to time from L’Académie. 100 points are equivalent to $1 (before taxes).

PROMOTIONS
Promotions are offered and emailed to privileged members only and are applicable for a limited time to the location identified within the personalized offer.

MEMBER
A valid member is any customer who has completed the free registration process and activated their L’Académie Gift & Rewards Card membership profile by using the web and a valid email.

LOST OR FORGOTTEN PROMOTIONS
The L’Académie Gift & Rewards program and L’Académie restaurants cannot be held responsible for lost, stolen or expired promotions and or cards.

REWARD POINTS REDEMPTIONS
Only the activated L’Académie Rewards Card members can redeem Reward Points  as a form of payment  for future purchases made exclusively at any participating L’Académie restaurant. Get specialty pastas, mussels, pizzas, scallopini, and more, to eat for free as a privileged member*.  A minimum value of 1000 Reward Points, equivalent to 10$ is required to be used upon every redemption at any participating L’Académie restaurant by any L’Académie Rewards member.

TERMINATION AND EXPIRY
All L’Académie Reward Points that have not been used for 730 consecutive days from their last transaction will be terminated and all benefits of the program will be expired. 

MODIFICATIONS
The L’Académie Rewards Card and the L’Académie restaurants reserve the right, at its sole discretion, to terminate The L’Académie IA Rewards Card program, to alter, limit, modify or add to The L’Académie Rewards Card program rules, regulations, terms and conditions without prior notice at any time and from time to time. As permitted by applicable law, any amendment will become effective at the time the amended agreement is posted online through www.lacademie.ca 

PROTECT YOUR CARD
You can register your L’Académie Gift & Rewards Card online at www.lacademie.ca to protect the balance on the card. Your L’Académie Gift & Rewards account balances are only protected from the point in time that you notify us of your stolen, lost or damaged card and the identification, verification of your profile has been established.

CARD BALANCES
You can obtain the balance of your L’Académie Gift & Rewards Card by visiting the participating L’Académie restaurant, and or online at www. www.lacademie.ca. Any time you conduct any L’Académie Gift & Rewards Card transaction, you will be provided with a receipt (proof of transaction) clearly identifying the card’s new balance. You should validate every receipt and safe keep all of you receipts for future reference if required.

ERRORS
The L’Académie locations shall have no liability for any questionable transaction as transactional errors need to be identified and resolved at time of occurrence with the management of the participating restaurant. Any questionable transactional errors need to be communicated to the management of each participating L’Académie location. L’Académie reserves the right not to accept, load or re-issue L’Académie Gift & Rewards Card if L’Académie reasonably believes that the use is unauthorized or fraudulent.

GOVERNING LAW
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Québec and the applicable laws of Canada therein.

ENTIRE AGREEMENT
This agreement is the complete and exclusive statement of agreement between card holder and L’Académie, its stores, and exceeds and joins all prior agreements.
